Who is Jehovah? We should know the LORD our God in our life by the Holy Bible

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep,

and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters,

-Genesis 1:1-2

You shall not bow down to them or worship them;

for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

but showing love to a thousand {generations} of those who love me and keep my commandments.

-Exodus 20:5-6

God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind.

Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

-Numbers 23:19

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.

Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

-Deuteronomy 6:4-5

Have I commanded you?

Be strong and courageous

Do not be terrified, do not discouraged,

for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

-Joshua 1:9

Then hear from heaven, your dwelling place.

Can you fathom mysteries of God?

Can you probe the limits of the Almighty?

They are higher than the heavens-what can you do?

They are deeper than the depths of the grave-what can you know?

Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea.
